Power of the Holy Spirit / ADHD, Holy Spirit, and Me / By Coach Kenya Joy Being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 43 brought me a profound sense of understanding and knowledge. Finally, I had answers to the myriad of thoughts and ideas that constantly filled my mind. It shed light on why I often felt overwhelmed and frustrated, unable to complete projects or maintain motivation for things that once excited me. Armed with this newfound knowledge, I embarked on a search for solutions, yearning to move forward and achieve the goals and dreams I had set for myself. I delved into various resources that offered guidance in navigating ADHD, but I soon realized that I needed something more. I needed peace amidst the chaos that ADHD could bring into my life. It was during this search for peace that I discovered the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. I began to embrace the Holy Spirit’s influence in every area of my life—personal, spiritual, work, business, and home. Whenever I needed answers, I turned to the Holy Spirit. As I learned to embrace the power of the Holy Spirit, I found that I no longer struggled to find peace in the midst of overwhelming circumstances. Instead of allowing myself to be consumed by chaos, I turned to the Holy Spirit and found comfort. He became my source of tranquility, providing peace that surpassed my own understanding. In moments when my emotions threatened to overpower rational thinking, the Holy Spirit became my guide and helper. The Bible reminds me that the Holy Spirit is an ever-present help in times of trouble. His divine presence brings clarity to my thoughts, calming the storm of emotions and offering guidance when rationality seems out of reach. With the Holy Spirit as my constant companion, I have discovered a profound sense of peace, even in the face of ADHD-related challenges. The Holy Spirit’s presence enables me to navigate through the ups and downs of life, offering guidance, comfort, and strength. Through prayer and a reliance on the Holy Spirit, I have found a deep wellspring of peace that sustains me in the midst of chaos. Trusting in the Holy Spirit and embracing His power has been a transformative journey. I no longer have to face the challenges of ADHD alone or rely solely on my own limited capabilities. Instead, I find peace, guidance, and support in the presence of the Holy Spirit. He is my ever-present help, offering the wisdom and strength I need to overcome obstacles and thrive. As I continue to embrace the power of the Holy Spirit in my life, I am reminded of the profound truth that peace is not found in external circumstances or fleeting solutions. True peace resides in the embrace of the Holy Spirit’s presence, offering comfort, guidance, and a steadfast source of strength.
